Okay, so today I messed around with some numbers, specifically 64 and 38. I’ve been trying to figure out a little puzzle, and these two numbers kept popping up.
First, I started by just staring at them. You know, like you do when you’re trying to see a pattern. Nothing. They just looked like two random numbers. 64, even. 38, also even, but not as… round? I don’t know.
Trying Stuff Out
Then, I decided to add them. 64 + 38 = 102. Okay, a bigger number. Still didn’t mean much to me.

- So I tried subtracting: 64 – 38 = 26. Hmm, getting smaller.
- Then multiply just see what would happen:6438=2432,I got a big number.
- I did a division:64/38=1.684210…
I grabbed a piece of paper and started writing down everything I was doing. I felt like one of those detectives in movies, with clues scattered all over the place.
Next, I thought, what if I break them down? Like, what makes up 64? Well, it’s 8 x 8, right? And 38? That’s 2 x 19. Prime numbers started popping into my head. I remembered those from school, vaguely.
The “Aha!” Moment (Maybe?)
Then I saw it – or at least, I think I saw something. 64 is a power of 2 (2 to the power of 6, to be exact). 38 isn’t, but it’s got that 2 in it. I started thinking about binary, you know, 1s and 0s. I’m not a computer whiz, but I know a little bit.
So, I converted 64 to binary: * 38 to binary is 00100110. I lined them up, and I started playing with the bits, flipping them, adding them, doing all sorts of weird stuff that probably doesn’t make sense to anyone but me.
I’m still not sure what it all means, but I feel like I’m onto something. It’s like there’s a hidden message in these numbers, and I’m slowly decoding it. It’s frustrating, but also kind of fun. It reminds me of those escape room games I enjoy.

I have’t completed the puzzle today,but I got something!
