Okay, so let me tell you about my recent deep dive into the whole “2111 angel number” thing. I know, I know, sounds a bit out there, but hear me out. I’m a firm believer in trying things out before I knock ’em, and honestly, I was just curious.
It all started last week. I kept seeing “2111” everywhere. On license plates, clocks, receipts… you name it. At first, I brushed it off as a coincidence, but it kept happening. My curiosity got the better of me, and I googled it. Boom, “angel number.” Apparently, it’s supposed to mean something about new beginnings and aligning your thoughts with your goals. Right, okay.
The internet said, if you keep seeing 2111, you need to focus on your positive thoughts. Visualize what you want, believe in it, and all that jazz. I’m usually a pretty skeptical person, but hey, no harm in trying, right?

So, I decided to give this thing a shot. For the past few days, I’ve been actively trying to catch myself when I have negative thoughts. Like, if I start thinking “Ugh, this project is going nowhere,” I immediately try to reframe it into something like “Okay, this is challenging, but I can learn something from it.”
Here’s what I actually did:
- Morning Affirmations: Each morning, I would write down three goals and repeat them aloud with strong conviction.
- Mindfulness Practice: I started a 5-minute meditation using a phone app to center my thoughts.
- Visualization: I spent about 10 minutes each day visualizing my desired outcome with my goals.
- Gratitude Journal: Each night, I noted three things I was grateful for to maintain a positive mindset.
It was difficult at first. My brain is just wired to worry about stuff, but over the past few days, it’s gotten a little easier. I catch negative thoughts more quickly, and I’m getting better at shifting my perspective.
Did my life magically transform into a Disney movie? Nope. Am I suddenly rich and successful? Not at all. But, honestly, I do feel a bit more focused and positive. I think it’s because actively trying to focus on what I want instead of what I don’t want has shifted my mindset.
I also started working on that side project I’d been putting off. It wasn’t some monumental, earth-shattering leap, but I actually sat down and wrote out the first few lines of code. Before, I’d just been thinking about it and getting overwhelmed.

I’m not ready to say that the “2111 angel number” is some kind of mystical key to success. But I think the exercise of paying attention to my thoughts and actively trying to be more positive is definitely helpful. It’s like a little nudge to get your head in the right place.
So, what’s the verdict? I’d say it’s worth a shot. Even if you don’t believe in angel numbers, consciously trying to focus on positive thoughts and visualizing your goals is never a bad thing. It might just give you that little boost you need to get moving.
I plan on continuing this experiment for another week or two and see how it goes. I’ll keep you all posted! Who knows, maybe I’ll become a full-blown “angel number” convert. Or maybe I’ll just be slightly less of a pessimist. Either way, it’s a win in my book.
