Okay, so the other day I kept seeing the number 1012 everywhere. Like, on the clock, on a receipt, even on a license plate. It felt like more than just a coincidence, you know?
So, I started by jotting down every time I saw 1012. I just used my phone’s notes app – nothing fancy. I figured if I was going to figure this out, I needed some actual data.
My Little Experiment
The first few days were kinda slow. I’d see it maybe once or twice a day. But then, bam! It was like the number was following me. I remember one time, I was waiting for the bus, glanced at the schedule, and the arrival time was 10:12. Seriously!

- Day 1: Saw it twice (clock, receipt)
- Day 2: Once (randomly on a building number)
- Day 3: Four times! (Bus schedule, microwave timer, page number in a book, and on a price tag)
- Day 4: Twice (on a clock and YouTube video time)
- Day 5: Three times.
After a week of this, I decided to, I don’t know, “engage” with the number. It sounds weird, but I was like, “Okay, 1012, what are you trying to tell me?” Whenever I would catch this number appear I would reflect on what I was just thinking of, or take a look at my current goals, or even just what I have done.
I noticed that a lot of the times I saw 1012, I was thinking about starting a new project or making some kind of change in my life. Nothing huge, just little things, like finally organizing my closet or starting to learn a new skill.
I did that and I feel way more motivated than before. I finished organizing the closet that I saw 1012 thinking about, and I also signed up for an online course.
It might all be in my head, but paying attention to 1012 actually pushed me to, you know, do stuff. And that’s pretty cool, whatever the reason. It’s like a little nudge from the universe, or maybe just from my subconscious. Whatever it is, I’m going to keep paying attention.
